R.I.P Phil a pleasure to have known you.Always enjoyed meeting up with you for a coffee and a chat.You will be sadly missed but remembered with a smile.

Phil was a kind, caring and funny man, who will be very sadly missed. He inspired so many athletes and was the first to start the singing on the bus back from a Welsh league that we attended for a number of years. He was a motivator and enjoyed playing both football and golf with him.

Phil was the perfect gentleman. I will miss his calming nature, his laugh, listening to his stories but most of all I will miss his hugs! I will forever be grateful for the times I spent with him and will cherish the memories forever. He was definitely loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Phil was always so calm in any situation. He made you feel you could achieve anything he taught you whether it was first aid, bowls or circuit training. He has a wicked sense of humour and always had time for a chat. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He was a real gentleman

Phil was and absolute gent. I have so many fond memories of him, especially times of him and the bowls team winding everyone up. Phil taught me first aid in the Castle and because of him I wanted to pursue it further and became an instructor myself. He inspired everyone around them to be the best they can be and always saw the best in everyone. Phil was loved by all that met him and will be truly missed.

My Thoughts go out to all the family of Phil at this sad time , i definitely feel like I know him through the spirit he’s given his amazing daughter Suzanne, my best friend, who is selfless, funny, & one of a kind just like her dad in every way . . Dad you were simply the best. No words can express my loss of such a wonderful person who meant the world to me. You were always there for me guiding me along my life journey. You had a passion for life that was just immense and I will always have the fantastic memories that we shared along the way. You were the person I looked up to the most and I will love you forever.

Phil was an absolute true gentleman,So many fun memories working with him at the Castle. The crazy circuit classes he would run in the bowls hall were so hard but he made it fun and also made you work harder If you swore or said you couldn't do it! He was always there to support you in no matter what you were doing. Thank You for the special memories Phil. You will be missed xx

Multiple times Phil trained us in first aid with his kind and patient nature, listening to his stories from his time as a police officer, it was a pleasure. I have many fond memories working with him for bowling events, and BBQ’s at the Castle, joking around and winding up the bowling team. There’s not many people in the world that are loved by all, but Phil was! A true gentleman who’ll be missed by all who knew him.

Phil was my hero, his kindness, strength, and unwavering support touched so many lives. He will forever be missed, but his spirit will live on in the countless memories and lessons he’s left behind

My Dad was the most wonderful , kind caring man ever … he always laughed with a cheeky sense of humour and out his family above all else x I love you Dad x
